Dear Seattle folks!
I’m happy to announce the co-working session, followed by our monthly meetup this Saturday (no RSVP this time around.)
Seattle Co-Work (Tomorrow)
Peter Slattery (peter@handmadecities.com) is hosting the regular session. Here’s what he said to say:
“It’s time for another Seattle Co-working session! Come, hang out and work with other Handmade community folks, wrap up work, or work on side projects. As always, anyone is welcome to drop in for some or all of the time.”
Event Deets
Where: Armistice Coffee Roosevelt
When: Friday, September 25th, 2:30pm - 5pm

- Come and work around other Handmade folks, or just come to hang!
- Grab food or drinks - it’s good to support our hosts.
- There are outlets around, still good to come charged.
- At 5, we’ll discuss where to go for dinner or a drink.
“Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, and otherwise, see you on Friday! All good things.”
Handmade Meetup (Saturday)
The last Saturday of the month is upon us so yours truly (abner@handmadecities.com) will graciously host this event. No RSVP required.
The Details
We’re right next to Roosevelt’s Light Rail. We can’t miss it if we have Apple/Google maps:
- Where: One Bite Cafe (in Seattle)
- When: Saturday September 26, 2-4PM
- Parking: There is street parking around the block. However, the most reliable place to park is “Green Lake Park & Ride”

The schedule goes as follows:
1. Snack & Drinks (2:00 - 2:30)
The entire shop is reserved for Handmade, so let’s order snacks and drinks to support this family business!
2. Open Mic: Lightning Talks and Demos (2:30 - 4:00)
Our last meetup with Andrew Kelley was massive and the community agrees we should have a chill one this month. Therefore anyone in the audience with a project demo or mini talk should bring it along! We’ll divvy up our alloted time among the Handmade folks who are presenting.
3. Seattle After Dark (4:00 - 7:00)
As always, between 4:00 - 4:30PM we will wind down the official meetup and make our way to dinner and drinks. “After Dark” is optional, but during this time I moderate very little, which lets community members get spicier with their takes on our industry as a whole. It’s a hoot.
Catch you very soon,
Abner Coimbre
