Dear Seattle folks,
After announcing our monthly meetup the seats filled up within a day. In my experience as organizer some early birds always end up canceling, so below is an additional RSVP to serve as a waitlist.
- Bonus RSVP (Waitlist)
It’s first-come, first-served again. Don’t wait!
Note: We will have a ‘bouncer’ at the entrance checking names against both lists.
Members in the Original RSVP
Meetup members MUST arrive at One Bite Cafe between 2:00 - 2:30PM for us to guarantee a seat.
Members in the Bonus RSVP
Instead of showing up at 2:00 p.m. please arrive to One Bite at 2:30 instead: by then we will offer the remaining slots.
What happens if it’s too full?
If it’s 2:30PM and there’s no more room, we still have great options to enjoy the weekend with us.
1. Alternative Meetup: Armistice Coffee Roosevelt (2:30 - 4:15)
There’s a secondary coffee shop that’s a fan of Handmade Cities too: Armistice Coffee Roosevelt. Our ‘bouncer’ will give you directions from One Bite (it’s just a couple blocks away!)

Over at Armistice there will be an alternative Handmade meetup with veteran community members showing off their own demos :)
2. Seattle After Dark (4:15 - 7:15)
In the original announcement we mentioned pizza and drinks at the pub: this is what I call the “After Dark” portion. At this hour ANYONE can drop by:
Olympic Pizza: Within walking distance. It’s cheap and yummy pizza, with vegetarian options as well as non-pizza items. We’re arriving at 4:15 p.m.
Teddy’s Roosevelt: Also within walking distance, as everything occurs at Seattle Roosevelt. Note that Teddy’s offers non-alcoholic drinks too. We’ll be here from 5:15 - 7:15 p.m. (some members stay way past that, unofficially.)
NO RSVP IS REQUIRED for Armistice Coffee nor for Seattle After Dark.
3. Zig Day (Sunday)
Our friend Scott Redig switched and expanded the venue for Seattle Zig Day. It’s now taking place at the Bothell Library:

Andrew Kelley is joining this event too and there are still slots available.
Staying Up to Date
Make sure you’re subscribed to our Seattle mailing list. (They include notifications for Kirkland.) We also have an RSS feed for the News page. Finally if you’d like real-time updates please apply for the community server.
I’m excited to host you this Saturday!
Your community organizer,
Abner Coimbre
