Hey, Handmade folks!

There will be no Kirkland Co-Working session this Friday, July 24th; we plan to resume as usual on August 7th. Additionally, this Saturday, July 25th is our monthly meetup in neighboring Seattle, so keep an eye out for that invite!

The Why

An event is being hosted nearby on this date at The Pursuit, roughly 10 minutes away from Thruline Coffee by car. We’re expecting this event to be politically-charged, both by organizers and counter-protestors. Additionally, there is a not-insignificant chance that federal law enforcement will be present. I’ve talked this over with Abner, and neither of us feel safe bringing folks into Kirkland that don’t otherwise need to be there, if we can help it.
