Dear Seattle area,
You may have seen River is back with us! The Kirkland co-working happens later today: enjoy your Friday with the Handmade group.
ALSO the last Saturday is upon us which means our monthly meetup takes center stage. (You were scared I wouldn’t host it weren’t you?) RSVP is NOT required this time around: we’ll have open seating.
The details:
We’re right next to Roosevelt’s Light Rail. We can’t miss it if we have Apple/Google maps:
- Where: One Bite Cafe (in Seattle)
- When: Saturday, June 27th, 2-4PM
- Parking: There is street parking around the block. However, the most reliable place to park is “Green Lake Park & Ride”

The entire shop is reserved for Handmade, so let’s order snacks and drinks to support this family business!
Saturday’s Presentations (2-4PM)
We start with community news from yours truly, followed by a round of project demos. Time permitting, we wrap it all up with roundtable discussions.
Bring-Your-Demo Day
Let’s shake things up this time: This Saturday I’d like the meetup group to do impromptu demos of their current side-projects. Indeed, this is how we’d always do it in the early days: you raise your hand if you have something to show and receive friendly feedback from us.
Please make sure your laptop is fully charged and I’ll hook you up with the projector. Time limit is generally fifteen minutes per project. If there aren’t enough projects to go around we’ll have chill discussions on any industry topic the group pitches.
P.S. Did you know? We published our AI policy yesterday.
Seattle After Dark (4-7PM) 🍕
Between 4:00 - 4:30PM we will wind down the official meetup and make our way to dinner and drinks. “After Dark” is optional, but during this time I moderate very little, which lets community members get spicier with their takes on our industry as a whole. It’s a hoot.
See you Saturday at 2PM,
Abner Coimbre
