Handmade London Meetup, Sunday February 15th

Hey everyone

This is your regularly scheduled announcement that the next London meetup is happening soon! The next meetup will take place at:

14:00 on Sunday the 15th of February (RSVP here)

I’m aware that there was some confusion around the January meetup, my apologies for that. The Handmade Cities Discord server is now closed and our online home is moving but these emails and our meetups aren’t going anywhere! Handmade Cities has its own Revolt/Stoat server (for which I believe I can generate invites for interested meetup attendees) and for those on Discord, the Handmade Network server has a thread for the London meetup.

I’ve also discovered that replies to these announcement mails are not being routed correctly. That should be fixed in the next few days so anybody with a question about the meetup closer to the time will be able to reach me by email at jacques@handmadecities.com.

With that out of the way, back to the meetup itself:

As usual we’ll book a table at The Fellow (a pub near Kings Cross Station, N1 9AA). There’s no agenda so anybody is free to bring any topics or demos that they’d like to discuss. If anybody wants to bring a laptop or gadget or what-have-you to demo something that’s awesome but most often its just a casual chat about recent projects or topics that interest people. People tend to hand around for anywhere between 2 and 5 hours, so feel free to stay for as much or as little time as you fancy. The only ask is that attendees grab a drink or some food to compensate the pub for so kindly allowing us to use their space

Since that space is limited, if you plan on attending please do respond on the event page here by the end of Sunday the 8th of February, just so that I can make an appropriate reservation.
